Innost Receives ¥200 thousand Fund from Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission for R&D Project of Enhancing the Mechanical Properties of its Bi-2223 HTS Wires

Innova Superconductor Technology Ltd., Co. (InnoST), a leading of high temperature superconductor company of China, announced that it has received ¥200 thousand fund extension for improving the mechanical property of InnoST’s Bi-2223 HTS wires from Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission (BMSTC).


In the applications of the HTS wires, such as HTS coil, HTS magnet, the higher mechanical properties of the HTS wires are needed. Targeted the increasing market requirements of the high strength HTS wire, Innost will make more special efforts on improving the mechanical properties of the HTS wire based on the support of the BMSTC. As the result of this item, the tensile stress (5% Ic degradation) of the HTS wires will reached up to 250MPa.
