3 Global Pioneers in Superconductivity Join Forces to　Accelerate Product Commercialisation

August 16th 2006 in London, Zenergy Power plc is pleased to announce the acquisition and consolidation of three leading providers of high-temperature superconductor materials and applications. The forces of Zenergy Power plc, Australian Superconductors Ltd., SC Power Systems Inc. and Trithor GmbH (“the Group”) will be combined to create a global player in the field of high temperature superconductivity.


The Group will combine both 1st generation superconductivity commercially-ready products (with existing sales) with ongoing the Group`s advanced development of new low cost production processes for 2nd generation products. The Group will also focus on development of HTS applied products such as fault current limiters, linear motor devices etc. Further to this the Group has also forged strong relationships with a number of
manufacturing, utility and power companies and has benefitted from in excess of € million of historical governmental grants and investment.
